Welcome to the Journal of Disability Research (JDR) — the first scientific journal of its kind to be established within the Middle East, and a proud publication of the King Salman Center for Disability Research.
The Journal is dedicated to exploring the many dimensions of physical, mental, cognitive, and developmental conditions that may pose challenges in daily life. JDR serves as a platform to advance knowledge, stimulate novel research, and support the global scientific community in improving quality of life for people with disabilities.
JDR covers a wide range of topics including biomedical applications, assistive technology, inclusive urban planning, social mobility, rehabilitation, and more.
This journal wishes to play a considerable part in disseminating disability research — furthering broader awareness, stimulating new lines of inquiry, and supporting the development of evidence-based interventions wherever they arise.
